Smithsonite

A calcite mineral containing zinc and iron which is rarely available as a gemstone. I cut these gems from an old mineral collection and the stones are highly translucent with amazing bands of aqua blue and clear zones. The best pieces are completely blue but extremely rare. An amazing stone for rare jewelry or collectors.
